- technical information recorded by our website hosting and security providers, such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages requested.
Please do not include medical, financial or other sensitive information in a website form. If we need that information, we will explain why and arrange a more appropriate way to provide it.

Who we share information with
Information is only available to staff or trustees who need it. We use Formspree to receive and store website form submissions on our behalf. We may also use trusted organisations that provide website hosting, email, IT support and security services. They may only use information to provide services to us and must protect it.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, to protect someone from harm, or to professional advisers, insurers or regulators where necessary. We do not sell personal information.
External services on this website
The website loads fonts from Google and icons through the cdnjs service operated by Cloudflare. The Find Us page also contains an embedded Google Map. When these services load, the provider receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google Maps may also use cookies or similar technologies.
Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Age UK, GOV.UK and other websites take you to services operated under their own privacy notices. We are not responsible for how those organisations use information after you leave our website.
International transfers
Formspree hosts its service in the United States and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers. Other technology providers may also process information outside the UK. Where we appoint a provider that transfers personal information internationally, we require an appropriate UK safeguard, such as UK adequacy regulations or an approved contractual transfer mechanism.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to respond and deal with reasonable follow-up. We then delete it in line with our retention arrangements, unless we need to keep it for a legal, safeguarding or regulatory reason.
If an enquiry leads to an application, residency, trustee, staff or volunteer relationship, relevant information may become part of that record and will be kept under the retention rules and privacy information for that relationship. Historical material accepted for the archive may be kept for the long term because preserving it is the purpose for which it was provided.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis we use, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete or restrict how we use your information;
- object to our use of your information;
- receive information you provided in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
You have the right to object when we use your personal information on the basis of legitimate interests. Tell us about your circumstances and we will stop unless we have a compelling lawful reason to continue.
These rights do not apply in every situation. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. Contact us using the details above to make a request.
Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have used your information, please contact us first so we can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Visit the ICO’s data protection complaints guidance or call 0303 123 1113.
